Former Napoli hero Diego Maradona has revealed he will no doubt support the Italian club in today’s Champions League duel against his other former club, Barcelona.
Napoli host Barca in San Paolo for the first leg of the 1/8 final of the Champions League.
Maradona joined Napoli from Barcelona in 1984 and had a major impact during his six-year stint.
He helped Napoli win the Serie A title twice, a trophy in the Italian Super Cup, one in the Italian Cup and one in the UEFA Cup, and is considered a master at San Paolo to this day.
“Without a doubt, my heart is with Naples and the Neapolitan. Especially in this difficult match,” Maradona said when asked who would make the typhoon.
