There were 11 games in the NBA, but the challenge that drew the most attention was that of Washington’s Capital One Arena, where the Wizards were defeated by just one point, 158-159 by the Houston Rockets.

A crazy showdown in the capital after scoring a total of 317 points, 59 by James Harden (Rockets) and 46 by Bredley Beal (Wizards). Russell Wetbrook recorded his second triple-double of the season (17 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds), while a total of 13 players from both teams reached double points.

The cherry on the cake was without a doubt the victory in the final “sprint” of the single team by only 1 point difference. The atmosphere, more or less, was created as if an All Star challenge was being played, with no one minding the defense. Simply put, it was a magical evening.
Comes the third season loss to the Golden State Warriors, who surrendered 110-121 against the Phoenix Suns. A double-defeat defeat, as last season’s finalists have to do without long-time team-mate Stephen Curry.

The 31-year-old suffered a left fracture in the third period, forcing him to close the meeting prematurely. In practice, the Warriors lost the show in the first period, which closed with a 14-43 partial score. Their reaction in the last period, where they recovered 19 points, was useless.

In this Suns success, notably Devin Booker scored 31 points, assisted by Aaron Baynes who added 24 more points and controlled a full 13 balls under the table.

The 125-113 triumphed the Toronto Raptors over the Detroit Pistons, in a match where outfielder Pascal Siakam added 30 points, while Kyle Lowry added another 20 points. Whereas in the 116-105 Boston Celtics success over the Milwaukee Bucks, Kemba Walker scored 32 points.
