Gianluigi Buffon seems to have no intention of hanging up his soccer shoes.
Buffon has announced that he will agree to be the second choice, but only to the Juventus team, and nowhere else.
The 41-year-old did not extend his contract with PSG to return to Serie A, where he made the best of his career, Juventus. He is nowhere near retirement, though he counts 41 years on the shoulder.
“I noticed that I could only agree to be the second choice only for Juventus. I waited and I was right. I’m happy to be back with my teammates, with the people I’ve experienced a lot, ”Buffon said.
But when asked if he would play one last match with Italy, Buffon said it would only come when retirement is planned.
“If Mancini and the federation have such a plan, I would accept it, but at the moment I plan to end my career,” the goalkeeper added, noting that he was not thinking something like that.
