Rome stops at a draw by Wolfsberg

Rome have not scored more than a 1-1 draw from their trip to Austria against Wolfsberg.

The Gialloroso at this maatch had been introduced with a combined lineup of title and reserve players.

Coach Fonseca had fired goalkeeper Pau Lopez, defenders Smalling, Kolarov and Florenzi as well as Edin Dzeko, Henrik Mkhitaryan and Veretto.

However, though with a second formation, Rome managed to take the lead in front of the Italian defender Spinazzola’s goal in the 27th minute.

The first 45 minutes of the challenge ended with the Gialloroso 0-1 ahead, .

The second part started off better for the locals who quickly found the way to the gate.

After the scoring, both teams had some good scoring chances, but the score remained 1-1.

Thus the two teams continue to lead in Group J with four points and the same 5: 1 goal.

In the third match Rome will face German club Borussia Moenchegladbach, while Wolfsberg is the guest of Turkish team Istanbul Basaksehir.
