After 7 consecutive wins the Los Angeles Lakers fall to the reigning NBA champions.
The Californians were defeated at the Staples Center by the Toronto Raptors with a score of 104-113 in a game where the difference was made by a group of Canadians after a total of 6 Toronto basketball players reached a double-digit quota. Best on par for the Raptors were Cameroon Siakam with 24 points 11 rebounds and 4 assists as well as VanVleet with 23 points 7 rebounds and 10 assists.
Thanks to this victory Toronto has a similar balance to the Lakers with 7 successes and 2 wins in 9 games. On the other side of coach Frank Vogel’s team were not enough Anthony Davis ’27 points and LeBron James’ triple-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists to avoid the loss.
