British boxer Tyson Fury, the former world heavyweight champion, has announced today that he will train with Conor McGregor as he decides to move from the ring to the cage.
The 31-year-old British is gearing up for his WWE debut against Braun Strowman in the duel to be played on Oct. 31 in Saudi Arabia.
However, Fury told Sky Sports he had talked with McGregor to train together as the British boxer decided to make his debut in mixed martial arts. “The future is never known. I will debut in the WWE, a big change for me and the future may bring more surprises,” said Tyson Fury.
“Maybe this year I can debut in MMA. I always look forward. I talked to Conor McGregor about this issue and he is looking forward to training me. It will be something extraordinary for both of you. He told me that he was ready to train me in Dublin, any time I wanted. I can’t wait to work more,” Fury said.
