Former Real Madrid star: I have neither played nor enjoyed football in Real Madrid

Dani Ceballos’s happiness at Real Madrid have seemed to have recaptured at Arsenal since being loaned to the club by the Premier League this summer.

The transfer of the Spanish midfielder to the Santiago Bernabeu did not go as planned, as he never got into the first team.

“It was clear I wanted to leave,” said Ceballos.

“I’ve been successful since leaving. Now I’m where I want to be and I’m very happy, “he added.

“My idea was to leave to play and enjoy football. I didn’t have this for the past two years, ”he said.
