Mohamed Salah has avoided serious injury after Liverpool’s win over Leicester City on Saturday.
The Egyptian was forced out of the field after Hamza Choudhury interception in the Reds’ 2-1 win at Anfield.
Salah ended up lying on the ground, while manager Jurgen Klopp spoke harshly to Choudhury as he asked the Englishman to calm down,
Fortunately for Liverpool, the initial scans show no serious injury beyond a skewed left leg, no ligament damage or fracture.
Salah will continue to be closely monitored at Melwood this week, but Liverpool sources have told Goal that he could be featured in the Reds’ next match at Manchester United on 20 October.
His recovery will be aided by the fact that he has already left international duty with Egypt after being allowed to miss his country’s friendly match against Botswana.
