Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry remains pleased with the impressive German performance against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. After the match, the former Arsenal winger stated that “London is still red.”
The 24-year-old winger excelled in Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Chelsea, scoring two goals in the second half to give Bayern a 3-0 win.
His first goal came in the 51st minute when he used a Robert Lewandowski bow to give the visitors the lead at Stamford Bridge.
Gnabry scored another goal just three minutes later, using another pass from the Polish star.
Lewandowski added another goal of his own later in the second half, following an impressive run and pass by Alphonso Davies.
Following Bayern’s triumph, Gnabry used his official Twitter account to declare that “London is still red!” to celebrate victory.
Gnabry had played for five years, 2011-2016, in London after joining Arsenal academy from Stuttgart at the age of 16 as he made his debut for the Gunners’ first team in October 2012.
